Recommended Skill Analysis Tasks
Written Analysis: Analyze the following
- Stage: Identify the stage of the skill that is exhibited (e.g. beginner, intermediate, expert).
- Stage Characteristics: Describe 2-3 features of the movement on the video that is characteristic of the stage identified.
- What to Change: Identify and describe the most important aspect of the skill that will need to be changed for the subject to improve.
- Cue: Write the single most important verbal instructional cue to help the performer improve.

Stage: Intermediate
Stage Characteristic: When running out route you need to plant your foot and cut hard and explode out to lose defender. When running routes you need to do them full speed and hard. You want to explode.
What to Change: Run routes at full step, be precise on footwork and which routes you are running. On Hitch route you want to sell like your going deep and stick foot and come back to ball to create seperation from defender.
Cue: run at full speed

Stage: Beginner
Stage Characteristics: Patterns aren't sharp, see the ball and tuck the ball in
What to change: Runner's need to run with sharper angles
Cue: Snap your head quickly

Stage: Intermediate
Stage Characteristics: All players seem to have the basics but need to be executed better with better planting of the feet and using more head fakes or body fakes to get open.
What to Change: Really work on footwork and be able to break faster.
Cue: Run hard and plant fast.

Stage Characteristic:The offenisve players seem to no the routes they are supposed to run and look for the quarter back when they should be getting the ball. They also keep there eye on the ball all the way in.
What to Change:Really work on pretending there is a defense guarding you and try to use head fakes or body fakes to get open.
Cue:Be really explosive in and out of brakes.
