Stage: Intermediate
Stage Characteristics: The following individual steps into the headstand, when attempting to complete this skill showing that she has some experience completing this skill. She does not hold the skill for an extended period of time meaning she probaly was not balanced when completing the skill. This individual uses a straight armed approach when completing this skill which is very important for stability and balance when completing a handstand.
Cues:Pointing your toes toward the ceiling will help maintain balance and stability.

Stage Characteristics:Straight arms with hands placed on the ground approximately shoulder-width apart; Straight legs, held together; Pointed toes so as to continue the lines of the legs.
What to Change: Keep legs held together in vertical position in order to keep the body balanced
Cue: Hips pushed forward, stand upright
