Cricket Bowling Analysis

Stage: Intermediate

Stage Characteristics: From what can be seen from the angle of the camera, he seems to have the correct two finger grip on the ball. He also correctly gradually accelerates on the run up. While he does not use the 10-15 paces for a fast bowler, it is okay to use fewer as a slower bowler. He does the cross-over step, however his hip does not completely turn sideways toward the target.

What to Change: His arm becomes slightly bent as it circles behind his body. The correct form is to have it completely straight and to have the hand come high over the shoulder as your throw. Also, when he does the cross-ver step, he needs to have his hip completely turned sideways towards the target.

Cue: Make sure your arm is straight the whole time as it circles behind your body!
Hip to target!
