Forearm Pass

Passing Critique

Stage: Beginner

Stage Characteristics: He has a good platform, his hands are put together correctly, and his forearms are flat. However, he has a rather wide stance, and rocks backward after passing instead of continuing leaning into the direction of the pass.

What to Change: He should be using his arms independently of his body. Instead of raising his body as he passes the ball, he should continue to stay low and only use his arms and shrug his shoulders when contacting the ball in a forearm pass. Also, when he finishes passing, he should not rock back, his shoulders should remain over his toes, seemingly further directing the ball with his platform to the target.

Cue: "Remember feet shoulder width apart!"
"Platform to target!"

Passing technique`

Level: beginner to intermediate

STregnths: Forarms are locked, nice platform and eye contact.Feet, nice width apart

Weakness/improvement: His foot placement is wrong, dominant foot needs to be pointed toward the target.Bend is good, but a little exagerated.
Cues: Lock arms, step into target as contacting the ball.
