Tennis Serve
Stage: Beginner to Intermediate
Stage Characteristics:
1. He has a good toss and it looks like he makes contact with the tennis ball when it reaches the high peak of the toss.
2. He watches the tennis ball as he hits to when it goes to the other side.
3. He does have a wind-up swing that he uses to get his power to hit the tennis ball.
What to Change:
I would have him bring the tennis racket up and back instead of performing a wind-up to generate power for the serve.
Cue: Snap your wrist and follow through.
Stage: Intermediate Stage
Stage: Intermediate
Stage Characteristics: He looks at his target he is trying to hit it to. He has a firm grip on the racket and the ball. The toss was very smooth as he hit the ball at the correct height above his head.
What to Change: The follow through looks pretty good but his stance seemed a little off. Toe was pointed a little far towards the camera shows he is hitting it cross court but might be a little to angled.
Cue: toss tennis ball, make contact at the peak, follow through with a wrist snap
