Kick-For PES 294

Stage: Beginner.

Stage Charactersitics: Child kicked ball off the side of the foot. Also, leg motion was more circular going around ball rather than into it.

What to change: Posture should be more up and down and slightly more erect. Child should approach the ball at slight angle and lead into the ball and use the knuckle of the large toe as impact zone. Also using the proper motion should allow the leg to stay in a V shape longer for more power and accuracy.

Cue: Reminding the child to kick the ball "off the knuckles" of the foot.

Stage: beginner

Stage characteristic: Sweep through foot to kick the ball on the inside of her foot.

What to change: Poor balance control and foot positioning makes her look as they she were bowling.

Cue: Minimize the cross over and maintain balance.

Improvement

Stage: Beginner
Stage Characteristics:
1. Approach the ball
2. Contact ball with foot
3. Follow through with kicking foot
What to Change: One major improvement would be for the player to better her approach to the ball. Thus, she needs to come at an angle. She also needs to work on her balance because her momentum carries her body backwards. She could lean forward with her upper body prior to contact with the ball.
Cues: Work on body and foot position
Balance is the key
Less cross over with the feet
