Swimmer Comparison
Stage: Intermediate
Stage Characteristics: Side-breathing, long strokes with good hand reach
What to Change: On the left, the swimmer exhibits smoother strokes and good technique with side breathing. However, when his hands are puling through he is pulling deep. If he pulls though closer to his body this will allow him to go through less water and help him stay on top more. The swimmer on the left does a great job at pulling though closer to his body however, there are a lot more bubbles with his hand entry because is is not entering with his fingertips first. Also, his stroke is very jerky. Smoothing it out will help a lot. For both of them, they need to keep their finger together when they swim. This is one of the earliest rule taught in swimming
Cue: "Don't pull down"
