Stage Characteristics: back stays stiff to keep a straight line, kick is generated from the large muscles of buttocks and thighs.

What to Change: Underwater recovery takes to long. His hands drop all the way down instead of dragging them along the side of the body. This will make each stroke quicker and more fluid.
